ABOUT US

Mission Statement

We exist to turn compassion into direct, practical relief for people living through crisis—especially during winter, when cold nights and severe weather make displacement even more dangerous. Our focus is simple: fund essentials like blankets, sleeping bags, winter clothing, shelter materials, and hygiene supplies—fast, responsibly, and with dignity.

Winter Relief

It’s winter right now—and for families living in tents or makeshift shelters, cold nights become a real emergency. In Gaza, January nights average around ~9–11°C (49–52°F). In parts of Sudan (including areas of Darfur), nighttime temperatures commonly fall to ~10–14°C (50–57°F), and can dip lower during cold snaps.

When there’s little insulation, wind and rain make it feel colder fast—and recent winter storms in Gaza have flooded or damaged tents and were reported alongside deaths linked to cold exposure, including a child. Babies and young children are especially vulnerable because they lose body heat more quickly and struggle to regulate temperature compared to adults.

What We Do

We exist to turn compassion into direct, practical relief for people living through crisis—especially during winter, when cold nights and severe weather make displacement even more dangerous. Our focus is simple: fund essentials like blankets, sleeping bags, winter clothing, shelter materials, and hygiene supplies—fast, responsibly, and with dignity.
